The Trans Lobby is Now Marketing to Your Kids

I must encourage parents to be vigilant and stay on top of the potential influences that could harm their children.  I urge you to read this article and then proceed to make sure your children are not consuming anything on the internet or otherwise that could entice them into the destructive world that is the LGBTQ movement.

The issue here is not the freedom of Americans to make their choices and live in immorality.  The issue is the marketing of moral confusion to unsuspecting youth much too immature to deal with such topics.  The end result is the deception of young minds and hearts which may lead to the adoption of these destructive life choices.

I make no apology for compelling parents to separate their families from the ungodly influences of the world which are only intensifying in our day.  Please guide your children away from the LGBTQ subculture.  In our day, this needs to include a departure from the public school system which is capitulating to the LGBTQ agenda.

Here is the article of interest.

PBS Tax-funded Children's Cartoon Featured a Homosexual Wedding

Here is a news release from the American Family Association every parent should see.  It is a constant battle to keep inappropriate material out of the life of our children, however, the battle is well worth it.  Please take steps to avoid this content in your home and I certainly encourage you to let your voice be heard through AFA's efforts to stop the influence of this cartoon.  From Tim Wildmon at AFA:

Earlier this week a PBS tax-funded children’s cartoon series featured a homosexual "wedding" for its season premiere episode. On Monday, May 14, 2019, the beloved animated series revealed that one of its longtime main characters and Arthur’s teacher, Mr. Ratburn, was gay and getting married.

In the season 22 premiere, “Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone,” the students see Mr. Ratburn speaking to an uptight lady, voiced by guest star Jane Lynch. They fear she is the person Mr. Ratburn is going to marry, and they devise a plan to stop the wedding and prevent a life of misery for their teacher. But the kids chicken out when they get to the wedding and don't stand up to object to the marriage. They learn the uptight woman is just Mr. Ratburn's sister, who is officiating the nuptials. When Mr. Ratburn walks down the aisle, he is arm in arm with a man. Both grooms grin and all the guests smile in celebration of the same sex marriage. The third-grade students are happy for their newlywed teacher. Their praises further normalize and glorify the gay marriage.

Later in the episode at the wedding reception, Arthur and his pals discuss the wedding and their disbelief that Mr. Ratburn is married. Francine tells the group, “Yep, it’s a brand new world,” perhaps a nod of approval to the changing cultural times. Then both grooms are shown dancing together at the reception.

The program is broadcast on PBS Kids, and its educational purpose is purportedly to interest children in reading. However, this episode is a flagrant indoctrination and promotion of the homosexual lifestyle upon our impressionable young children and a gross misuse of our tax dollars. Discussion of such controversial topics and lifestyle choices should be left up to parents.

Take action now!

Sign our petition to PBS Kids today urging the network to pull this episode, “Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone,” immediately, and no longer air it or future episodes featuring same sex couples.

Another Pastor's Perspective on Christian Education

5/5/2019

There are thousands of pastors who believe in private Christian education.  Here are some thoughts on the subject from a pastor who also raised his children in a Christian school:

You ask me why I send my children to the Christian school. Well, now, that’s a good question.

I know what you’re thinking. The public schools have just as good facilities and teachers as the Christian school and sometimes even better. So why all this fuss and bother of setting up a separate school system? Why not teach the children religion at home or in church or Sunday school?

But you see, you’ve asked me something that gets right to the core of the meaning of life. If Christian schools meant simply tacking on a prayer each day or an extra course in Bible study, they wouldn’t be worth all the time and expense.

I send my children to the Christian school because I believe that all of life is religious. God is at the center of everything. He made all things. He demands that we, His creatures, honor Him as Lord and Saviour in everything we do.

Of course that includes our studying, as well as our everyday work. It includes every part of life, without exception. It means that I can’t be satisfied with submitting my children to Christian training at home and church only.

As a parent, I’m responsible for those thirty important hours that they spend each week in school. Some of the most significant training of my children takes place in the school atmosphere. How can I leave God out of the picture here?

But you say, what is the difference if my child studies arithmetic, history or literature in a public school or in Christian school? Much. I want my child to learn from his earliest years that all of life belongs to God and was made for Him. In science, I want him to
know that he is studying God’s laws for the universe. In history, I want him to see the unfolding of God’s plan for the ages and the redemption of His people.

In literature, I want him to test other writers by Christian standards so that he will appreciate what is good and true and beautiful and discern what is false or dishonoring to God. In civics, I want him to know that true government is ordained of God and requires our support.

I want him to learn the principles of honesty, decency, cooperation and fair play because these are rules that God has set up for the ordering of our lives together. All this is a big order. It can’t be accomplished in fifteen or thirty minutes a day. It takes everything we’ve got to instill in the hearts of our children that true fear of the Lord which is “the beginning of wisdom” (Prov. 9:10).

Moses said it thousands of years ago. He told the people of Israel then how to bring up their children—God’s covenant children. This is how he said it: “therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. “And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. “And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates.”—Deut. 11:18–20.

This means Christian education— in all of life. Expensive? Yes, of course. We pay our full share of taxes for the public schools and we support our Christian schools in addition to this. But we count it a privilege to have this wonderful opportunity, in a land of freedom, to dedicate ourselves and our children entirely to God. —Dr. Jack Hudson

There are many reasons for the Christian family to invest in Christian education.  This dear brother has touched on several of those reasons.  Indeed, it is a wonderful opportunity to raise our children and grandchildren in a school built upon the proposition that education begins and ends with a growing knowledge of God, Christ, and His word.
