Dangerous New Synthetic Drug and Something Called “Dabbing”
Today Parents and leaders in the church need to know about a new synthetic drug called Cloud 9—a powerful liquid that is dropped on the tongue or even mixed with gum or soda. This new drug has sent multiple teens to the hospital in Michigan. As well, a new method of ingesting marijuana called “dabbing” involves inhaling a highly potent pot vapor after users burn hash oil or THC oil with blow torches to create a wax. The wax is then heated again so the vapor can be inhaled. The dangers of the drug subculture simply are not going away. Guard your children and keep them away from ungodly influences! Do You Ever Hear Anything About AIDS?
I don’t know about you, but I rarely hear much about this devastating disease anymore. Recently, however, I came across this information which was reported by Lifesitenews.com (October 1, 2014): “In their most recent Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, the health agency said that while men with same-sex attraction make up only two percent of the total population, they accounted for 63 percent of all newly-diagnosed HIV/AIDS cases in 2010.”
Homosexual promiscuity is a major problem in the spreading of AIDS. “Based on recent studies, the CDC estimates that about 18 percent of all homosexual men are infected with HIV. Chillingly, more than a third of those infected don’t realize they have the lethal virus, making them much more likely to pass it on to others by failing to take safety precautions. The rampant promiscuity in the gay community only makes matters worse, according to the CDC.”
This information puts the spotlight where it belongs—the gay community is largely responsible for spreading this disease through illicit behavior that is a shame to even talk about! Of course, the liberal element in the country is determined to legitimize this abhorrent behavior. Consequently, we have seen the advancement of so-called Gay Marriage, a proliferation of unseemly behavior portrayed on our television screens, and even a softening of our moral stance in the church at large. But for all of our compromise we will never be able to change the natural order of things and those who attempt to do so are only inviting the inevitable judgment of our Holy God!
