The statistics in this report are exactly why a growing number of families across the nation opt for home schooling or a private school. The nation's public school system is largely failing and is simply not the best choice for those families who can opt out.
From a Christian perspective education devoid of proper Biblical instruction aimed at raising children in the faith is deficient to begin with. What we need is strong traditional academics married to Christianity. Thankfully some have that choice.
