 Since NFL billionaire owners have gone out of their way to accommodate millionaire players in standing down for the national anthem, perhaps taxpaying Americans should start withholding money from the privileged and let them all stand on their own two feet.  It is becoming abundantly clear to me that the Republican majority in the Congress has no intention of actually working with the Trump agenda. They have done very little in spite of the opportunity that exists to put legislation on a President's desk who will actually sign it into law. Case in point is Obamacare. They refuse to roll back government control and spending related to this issue. I want to remain optimistic that change can occur for the good (less government, more freedom, fiscal responsibility) but the so-called establishment just keeps the out of control spending going forward full steam ahead. President Trump will continue to work to get something done (that is his nature) even if it upsets everyone! Unfortunately, he probably will be unable to reign in our Federal government. If the Lord tarries, the only thing that will do that will be fiscal chaos when our debts finally overwhelm the system. Of course, at that point we can only trust that the Lord will grant us some measure of freedom as such a crisis may well change our Constitutional Republic forever. Nearly a quarter of military recruits are rejected because they're too fat — and a majority of today's youngsters aren't fit to serve because they're overweight, use drugs, or have criminal records or educational deficits, a new report found. This is quite an insight on the overall condition of our youth. Our nation continues to reap a harvest of devastation from the seeds of ungodliness sown over the past four decades. Sadly, our nation shows no signs of returning to the Lord. We are deteriorating from within at such an alarming rate one wonders how long it will be before America drops into the hands of its enemies like an over ripened piece of fruit falls from a tree.
