It is becoming abundantly clear to me that the Republican majority in the Congress has no intention of actually working with the Trump agenda. They have done very little in spite of the opportunity that exists to put legislation on a President's desk who will actually sign it into law.
Case in point is Obamacare. They refuse to roll back government control and spending related to this issue.
I want to remain optimistic that change can occur for the good (less government, more freedom, fiscal responsibility) but the so-called establishment just keeps the out of control spending going forward full steam ahead.
President Trump will continue to work to get something done (that is his nature) even if it upsets everyone! Unfortunately, he probably will be unable to reign in our Federal government. If the Lord tarries, the only thing that will do that will be fiscal chaos when our debts finally overwhelm the system.
Of course, at that point we can only trust that the Lord will grant us some measure of freedom as such a crisis may well change our Constitutional Republic forever.
