In 1986, the San Diego Border Patrol sector accounted for approximately one-third of all apprehensions along the U.S.-Mexico border. Today, it accounts for only a small fraction.
How did the region go from one of the busiest sectors for illegal border crossings to one of the most secure?
I am sure you will find the answer to this question quite timely in light of our current President's desire to build a wall across our Southern border. What happened in San Diego can be duplicated across our border and in light of their success arguments against the wall sound hallow and very unconvincing.
Be sure to watch the video presentation available here for the very interesting details of this story.
Remember this: we are not attempting to stop immigration to America, only ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION! At this particular time in our nation's history a wall in my opinion is very much needed to keep America secure. Keep praying for our nation in these perilous times!
