An attorney fighting for the rights of persecuted Christians is pleased with the announcement by Vice President Mike Pence that the Trump administration will go around the United Nations to provide much-needed aid directly to victims of genocide in the Middle East.
The new policy recently announced by the VP comes as welcome news to Liberty Counsel chairman Mat Staver, who explains that during former President Barack Obama's tenure, neither the effort nor the focus was enough to directly aid persecuted Christians.

I must say with a new administration the battle to maintain and secure religious freedom in America and assist persecuted Christians in other lands is headed in the right direction. The philosophy of a setting President makes all the difference. A President's priorities trickle down into every area of his administration and is reflected in the kind of decisions made.
